Democrat Rep. Nick Mackey Loses Law License for 3 Years


Today, the N.C. State Bar suspended Democrat Rep. Nick Mackey's law license for three years for failing to disclose late tax payments on his Bar application.  Not only does Rep. Mackey raise your taxes without paying his on time, he also writes laws that he can not practice in court!  This hypocrisy must stop this year with a Republican majority in 2010.

Rep. Paul Stam helps lead state fight against DC Democrats' takeover of health care


Rep. Paul Stam, leader of the NC House Republicans, helped introduce a state legislative effort to stop the government takeover of health care authored by Democrats in D.C. Rep. Stam welcomed Democrats to join the effort but noted that if they choose to block the effort, Republicans will introduce the measure in the first week of the 2011 session - when Rep.
