Dante Pittman voted against two major constitutional amendments that would deliver real tax relief to North Carolina families and homeowners.
Pittman joined radicals in opposing a 3.5% cap on the state income tax and common-sense limits on skyrocketing property taxes.

Republicans put forward a constitutional amendment to cap North Carolina’s personal income tax at 3.5%. Pittman voted NO. He wants politicians to keep the door open for future tax hikes on families, retirees, and small businesses instead of making relief permanent.
Pittman also voted NO on reforms to rein in exploding local property taxes. While hardworking North Carolinians struggle with rising assessments, Pittman sided with unchecked power to keep jacking up taxes.
This is the same failed liberal playbook: block tax relief, protect government spending, and leave families with the bill.
Wilson and Nash Counties deserve lower taxes and more take-home pay — not higher taxes from politicians like Dante Pittman.
Voters will have the final say in November.
