He stood strong in support of permanently capping North Carolina’s personal income tax at 3.5%, providing lasting relief for families, retirees, and small business owners.

Riddell also led the effort to pass House Bill 1089, the constitutional amendment to rein in exploding local property taxes and protect homeowners from unchecked increases.
